Job Description

Pikes Peak Oral Surgery, an elite oral surgery practice dedicated to exceptional patient care and service, is seeking a Surgical Assistant to join their dynamic team. Role and Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures by providing support such as tissue retraction and managing documentation.
• Ensure preoperative and postoperative tasks are completed efficiently to support patient care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and assist in ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.
• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and assist with clinical tasks.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required, DAANCE certification preferred.
• Prior related experience is advantageous.
• Licensed dental assistant and radiology certification preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgment.
• Passion for ensuring patient safety.
• Excellent manual dexterity and strong listening skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.
