Job Description
At Steven Douglas Corp, we are looking for a skilled Senior Automation Control Engineer to join our innovative team. As a Senior Automation Control Engineer, you will be responsible for developing complete solutions for automated equipment, working on cutting-edge technology projects across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software and controls programs including PLC programming, HMI design/programming, robotic programming, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Evaluate and specify hardware and software components required for automation tasks.
- Manage projects to ensure on-time delivery and assist the Mechanical Engineering team with automation technologies.
- Support the machine building process from assembly to customer installations and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field.
- 5+ years of senior-level engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI systems, servo control, electrical design, and industrial machine vision systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, LabView, MatLab, or robotic programming is a plus.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for project support.
Compensation
Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 per year.
