Maintenance Manager for our Modesto Plant

Job Description

Crystal Creamery Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Modesto Plant. This role involves managing the plant's maintenance, including coordination with other departments to optimize production operations at our diverse Dairy processing facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage, organize, and lead daily activities of union maintenance team.
• Provide training and professional development to maintenance team.
• Motivate and coach maintenance staff in safe work practices.
• Lead continuous improvement in critical areas within the Maintenance organization.
• Ensure factory maintenance work meets high engineering, safety, and environmental standards.
• Manage preventive maintenance for optimal equipment utilization.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Manage R&M financial resources within the operating budget.
• Ensure equipment availability complies with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Technology, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years Supervisory experience in maintenance in a food & beverage manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of food processing equipment maintenance and technology.
• Leadership in food safety and understanding of SQF requirements.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Ammonia Refrigeration systems and environmental regulations.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Understanding of financial analysis and budget reports.
• Available for any shift.
