Position Title: Sous Chef

Indirectly Reports To: Executive Sous Chef
About the Position: As a Sous Chef at Riviera Country Club, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Executive Chef, overseeing food quality, and daily kitchen operations. This role requires a creative culinary professional dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute innovative menus with the Executive Chef.
- Supervise food preparation and maintain consistency.
- Ensure kitchen efficiency, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and procurement.
- Mentor culinary team members and promote excellence.
- Collaborate on event menus and themed experiences.
- Maintain high food quality standards and presentation.
- Coordinate with front-of-house for a seamless dining experience.
- Manage food and labor costs effectively.
- Uphold personnel management and sanitation regulations.
- Plan and execute special events and banquets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end culinary environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Passion for culinary arts and outstanding dining experiences.
- Commitment to food safety and cleanliness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation details: $70,000 - $80,000 yearly salary
