Senior OnBase Developer

Job Description

Princeton University is looking for an experienced Senior OnBase Developer to join its central IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, debugging, maintaining, and supporting solutions deployed on the OnBase by Hyland enterprise platform. This role involves collaborating with the OnBase team to enhance user adoption, troubleshoot operational issues, develop interfaces with other applications, and ensure seamless integration. The Senior OnBase Developer will also provide first-level application support to customers and assist with administration tasks and software releases validation.

Responsibilities

• Enhance OnBase solutions using APIs, C#, and/or VBScript.
• Develop interfaces between OnBase and other applications for a seamless user experience.
• Utilize native OnBase functionality for workflow, WorkView, and Unity Forms.
• Prepare technical requirements and solution designs based on functional needs.
• Maintain and refine existing content management solutions, including document imaging and workflow processes.
• Create reports using Hyland Report Services module and SQL scripts for support purposes.
• Assist with OnBase application administration and maintenance.
• Lead projects from development to production go-live.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on new Hyland module implementations.
• Build and maintain relationships with campus users and OIT partners involved in OnBase solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience with 3+ years as an enterprise content management developer.
• Experience with SDLC methodologies, ECM document imaging, workflow, forms, and reporting modules.
• Proficiency in OnBase API, C#, VBScript, SQL scripting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
