Senior Associate Cybersecurity Engineer ( Endpoint Security )

Job Description

Discover Financial Services is looking for a talented Senior Associate Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in Endpoint Security to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to developing the cybersecurity engineering roadmap, design secure systems, and ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering specifications for security and resilience requirements.
• Work with cybersecurity architects to design security solutions aligned with business goals.
• Assess impact of architectural models on cybersecurity systems.
• Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and legal requirements.
• Build relationships with peers, partners, and vendors, staying abreast of security trends and threats.
• Investigate security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions for remediation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Information Security, Application Security, or Security Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in scripting, coding, and automation.
• Knowledge of multiple operating systems, Agile methodologies, and automation tools.
• Expertise in security threats, attack vectors, and Endpoint Security solutions (EDR, EPP, HBFW).
