Job Description
Discover Financial Services is seeking a Senior Associate Application Engineer to join our technology team. This role involves programming features, test cases, and collaborating with engineering teammates to accelerate technical knowledge. As part of the team responsible for enhancing customer experiences on web and mobile applications, you will play a vital role in the product development process.
Responsibilities
- Complete features, user stories, and test cases independently
- Learn complex software engineering practices and contribute to agile ceremonies
- Participate in system design decisions and support production systems
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering
- Technical proficiency rating of advanced beginner
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, React Native, ReactJS, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and software testing methodologies

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary between $71,500.00 to $121,100.00 with additional incentives. Benefits include Paid Parental Leave, 401(k) Plan, Medical, Dental, Vision, and more.
