SALES CONSULTANT

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to join our team at Auto Centers. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles to customers. This role involves greeting customers, demonstrating vehicle features, suggesting optional equipment, finalizing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and determine their vehicle preferences.
• Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operations either in the showroom or during test drives.
• Suggest optional equipment for customers to enhance their vehicles.
• Calculate and provide sales quotes including taxes, trade-in values, fees, and financing options.
• Prepare sales contracts and assist with payment processing.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery, registration, and follow-up with customers post-purchase.
• Utilize computer databases to research vehicle availability and optional features.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and presenting business-related information.
• Mathematical and reasoning skills to calculate figures, solve problems, and interpret instructions accurately.

Preferred Education/Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Work Environment

This position may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions, and the work environment noise level is moderate.

Physical Demands

The role requires occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds and specific color vision abilities.
