Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Resident Monitor/Security (Part-time Weekend shifts) to join our team at Glover House, part of Wisconsin Community Services. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and monitoring adult male ex-offenders in a correctional residential setting, ensuring security, safety, and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect residents' activities within the facility and community.
• Enforce house rules and security measures to ensure safety.
• Conduct surveillance checks and maintain accountability of residents.
• Assist with new resident intake and orientation.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior work experience in corrections or related field preferred.
• Clear background checks, physical exam, and drug screen.
• Effective communication and crisis de-escalation skills.

Additional Information

• Work primarily with residents and interact with various stakeholders.
• Adhere to agency Code of Conduct and policies.
• Operate in an adult correctional halfway house setting.
