Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc as a Care Team Nurse. In this role, you will be the clinical leader of the care team, managing various responsibilities under the supervision of healthcare providers and contributing to the smooth operation of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate infection control practices and provide age-appropriate care to pediatric patients.
• Assess and address the physical, emotional, and social needs of clients and families.
• Conduct urgent triage care in-office and over the phone, documenting care accurately.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform in-office procedures efficiently.
• Facilitate communication among patients, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate post-discharge care to prevent complications and maintain continuing education.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in handling sensitive medical information and HIPAA compliance.
• Working knowledge of EMR, Microsoft Office, and email systems.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support certification and adherence to American Nursing Association guidelines.
