Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Matheny School and Hospital. This full-time position involves providing skilled nursing care to community residents with developmental disabilities, ensuring the continuity of care and coordination of treatment plans. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and external healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary nurse for a caseload of community residents.
• Provide professional nursing care and support to residents.
• Coordinate care with Direct Support Professionals and other clinical departments.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize treatment plans for residents.
• Document health care activities in compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Participate in staff training and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment for all.
• Respond to emergencies and crises promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• Valid New Jersey Driver's License.
