Job Description

Join Ethan Conrad Properties Inc as a Project Manager responsible for overseeing the construction phase of commercial projects. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager and the President of Construction, you will have a key role in ensuring project success and coordinating various aspects of the construction process.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Superintendent and Project Engineers to ensure project success.
  • Procure bids and award subcontracts, ensuring adherence to schedule and design.
  • Manage accurate job cost postings and review project general conditions.
  • Coordinate with consultants, facilitate design decisions, and oversee design changes.
  • Liaise with agencies for entitlements and permits, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
  • Participate in design review meetings and track project timelines.
  • Prepare budgets, evaluate value engineering options, and review final project drawings.
  • Manage close out documents, review submittals, and work with Superintendent on project schedules.
  • Travel to Salinas and surrounding areas 2x per month.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of preconstruction phase management or 5 years in construction management.
  • Strong team building, interpersonal, decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks efficiently.

Compensation: $81,000-$121,000 yearly salary.
