Production Trainer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Production Trainer to join our team at Bakerly Barn LLC. As a Trainer, you will play a crucial role in training new and existing employees for various production roles, ensuring they meet and exceed efficiency goals and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Acclimate new hires to the onboarding process.
• Enhance and improve the training program with suggestions to management.
• Collaborate with supervisors for daily training assignments and provide weekly reports.
• Develop training course objectives and deliver training to individuals and groups.
• Assess training needs and evaluate effectiveness to improve work performance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote product and packaging quality.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Participate in safety processes and activities, reporting hazards as necessary.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned, such as creating/modifying SOPs and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year experience in lean manufacturing production and/or training preferred.
• High school/GED diploma required.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to deliver constructive feedback professionally and multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, safe work practices, and continuous improvement.
• Physical ability to perform various tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
