Principal Product Owner - Talent Management and Learning

Job Description

Join Discover Financial Services as a Principal Product Owner focusing on Talent Management and Learning. Collaborate with business leaders to deliver products that meet stakeholder needs, managing change impacts and ensuring deliverables are aligned with business functions and constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead prioritization of business requests and collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Define product features and roadmaps based on insights and data.
• Work closely with Workday, SumTotal, and ServiceNow to deliver impactful functionalities.
• Create product documentation and define Minimum Viable Product and features.
• Ensure product features align with compliance and quality standards.
• Establish user story acceptance criteria and testing frameworks.
• Build a culture of accountability and ownership within the team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related roles.
• 8+ years of experience without a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Workday, SumTotal, and Agile methodology.
• Project Management experience, PMP certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience in business requirements gathering and User Acceptance Testing.

Compensation

Base pay ranges from $110,500.00 to $154,900.00 with additional incentives. Benefits and total compensation vary based on factors such as location, experience, and education.
