Job Description
Discover Financial Services is seeking a Principal Application Architect (Finacle) to lead technology strategy and technical capabilities for an application ecosystem. In this role, you will design application architecture, balance business and customer needs with technical requirements, and work closely with application engineers to meet evolving business needs. Responsibilities
- Develop product vision and strategy in alignment with technology strategy.
- Oversee the design process for applications independently.
- Coach other architects on product quality strategy and solution design patterns.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of business processes and technical building blocks.
- Engage in understanding and researching modern technologies and patterns.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Software Development, Engineering, or Technical Architecture.
- Internal applicants must have a technical proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus architecture scale.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bonus points for experience with Finacle, AWS, Kubernetes, and Openshift.
The application deadline is on Feb-20-2024. Salary range: $148,000.00 to $204,000.00.
