Summary

Pharmacists at SCA Pharmaceuticals oversee daily compounding activities in the cleanroom, supervise compounding technicians, work with the quality unit on pharmacy events, and handle some supervisory and administrative responsibilities during the 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise compounding, labeling, and daily pharmacy operations.
• Complete accurate logs and records for controlled substances and compounding.
• Perform pre-and-post compounding checks and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Conduct deviation investigations, batch reviews, and variances completion.
• Communicate issues to the Pharmacy lead and maintain real-time inventory.
• Enforce personnel policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) with an active Pharmacist License.
• 2+ years of sterile compounding experience and technician management.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a clean room environment.
• Capability to wear sterile Personal Protective Equipment and lift up to 40+ pounds.
