Job Description
Match Education is seeking a part-time AP Biology Teacher to join the faculty for the 2024-2025 school year at our Brighton Campus in Boston, MA. As an AP Biology Teacher, you will teach up to two high school AP Biology classes, plan daily lessons, uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students, participate in coaching and professional development programs, assist with school programming, and be a collaborative member of the school community.
Responsibilities
- Teach up to two high school AP Biology classes.
- Plan daily lessons with support from science department leadership.
- Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students.
- Participate actively in coaching and professional development programming.
- Assist with school programming as needed.
- Serve as a collaborative member of the school community.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of full-time teaching experience.
- Valid licensure issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
- Belief in student success for all.
- Desire for continuous improvement and feedback implementation.
- Proven record of student success.
- Ability to work well in a team and support others.
