Mercury Broadband is seeking an OSP Team Lead to oversee the construction of a Fiber-to-the-Home network in Muncie, IN. As the OSP Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in coordinating construction activities, ensuring safety, quality control, and on-time project completion. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe environment and oversee construction field operations.
- Coordinate field activities and resources to meet project schedules.
- Forecast construction timelines and address any issues that may cause delays.
- Ensure successful project completion within budget and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Prioritize and multitask projects while serving as a team contributor.
- Communicate progress to stakeholders and facilitate project handoffs.
Skills and Requirements
- Knowledge of network drawings, route maps, and fiber optic infrastructure.
- Experience in operational improvement and project management.
- Ability to interpret fiber test results and ensure compliance with project scopes.
- Proficiency in outside plant fiber optic network engineering and construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in fiber network deployments and team management.
Education and Training
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Company-provided safety, first aid/CPR, and installation training.

Compensation
$33-$36/hr, company truck and cell phone reimbursement, $500 sign-on bonus, health & vision insurance, basic dental & life insurance, STD, LTD, 401k, paid time off, and training provided.
