Job Description
OnPoint Medical Group, at Reflect Health, is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. As part of a physician-led network, you will play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare services and ensuring the well-being of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients for visits, obtain medical history, and record vital signs.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatments.
- Maintain and organize supplies, clean treatment rooms, and follow safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with patients, colleagues, and vendors.
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing medical records.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited healthcare program with relevant certifications.
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant with EMR proficiency.
- Strong computer skills and BLS certification.
- Preferred experience in Family or Pediatrics and Athenahealth practice management system.
