Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Maritime Scheduler to join Marine Hydraulics International, LLC. As the Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive production schedules, integrating resources, and updating repair schedules for ships. You will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update detailed production schedules for ship repairs, incorporating resource loading and contract changes.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Project Managers, internal teams, subcontractors, and government entities to integrate work tasks into a unified production schedule.
  • Prepare and present weekly schedule status reports in compliance with company procedures and contract requirements.
  • Analyze critical paths and work breakdown structures, providing feedback on potential impacts and proposing solutions.
  • Participate in project meetings and perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Two years of project planning and management experience or completion of Scheduler-In-Training requirements at MHI.
  • Prior experience in shipyard, industrial, or construction industry preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and make decisions.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Working Conditions

This on-site position requires working in an office environment with occasional outdoor exposure. Physical requirements include sitting for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and motor coordination skills. The role may involve occasional noise exposure.

Compensation

Yearly Salary: $58,000 - $74,000
