Job Title: Maintenance Technician
POAH Communities, a mission-driven organization committed to community development, is seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to join us as a Maintenance Technician. This role involves ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents, adhering to regulations, performing maintenance tasks promptly, and maintaining the overall property condition.
Responsibilities
- Insure the safety and comfort of residents, visitors, and staff.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and address any unsafe conditions promptly.
- Conduct make-ready repairs, inspections, and coordinate services as needed.
- Assist in grounds maintenance, including cleaning and upkeep.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in apartment maintenance.
- High School diploma or GED required; HVAC certification preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and insurance, ability to work flexible hours.
- Proficiency in hand and power tool usage, physical ability for manual labor.
- Comfort working in various weather conditions.
