Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at Joyce University on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks related to facility repairs and general campus upkeep. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual proficient in multiple trades, with excellent problem-solving skills.

Location: Draper, UT campus

Responsibilities:

• Handle repair, patching, and painting tasks to maintain campus aesthetics.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors on assigned projects.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and adhere to safety regulations.
• Licensure in relevant trades is a plus.
