Logistics Specialist

Job Description

We are looking to add a talented Logistics Specialist to our Supply Chain Team at The Town Dock. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in managing all third-party domestic logistics movement, distribution, and storage transactions, ensuring on-time delivery of fresh and frozen orders to customers, and maximizing cost efficiency. Principal Duties

• Own the customer-facing domestic logistics process.
• Collaborate with outside storage facilities and vendors for efficient deliveries.
• Collect and enter data into inventory reports.
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors for order fulfillment.
• Proactively engage coworkers to meet customer requests and time constraints.
• Continually evaluate freight costs and transportation rates.
• Support international logistics activities when needed.
• Report on department Key Performance Indicators.
• Collaborate with the Sales team on projections and planning.
• Utilize ERP systems and other tools effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic logistics.
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and customer service mindset.
• Collaborative approach and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ability to learn ERP systems.
• High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.

Compensation

$26-28 per hour
