Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Valley Counseling Services, which is a program of Family & Community Services, Inc. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) reporting to the Clinical Director and Medical Director.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication under the supervision of the Medical Director and agency physicians.
• Provide emergency care and first aid services when needed.
• Observe and report client behavior, condition, and response to medication.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, and committees as required.
• Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Must possess a practical nursing degree and relevant licenses/certifications in the State of Ohio.
• Experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
• Training in medication administration, First Aid, CPR, and De-escalation techniques.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and sitting.

Compensation

$21-21 per hour
