Field Trainer

Job Description

A&W Restaurants Inc. is seeking a Field Trainer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Manager of Field Training, this role is pivotal in implementing company standards through coaching and training in the field, focusing on Franchise Partner teams.

Essential Functions

• Execute a strategic plan for operational excellence and guest service.
• Train and develop franchisees and restaurant staff, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Cultivate positive business relationships with Franchise Partners.
• Contribute to team projects and create training material.
• Facilitate training sessions during new restaurant openings.
• Coordinate on-site Brand Refreshers for existing restaurants.

Competencies

• Proficiency in supervisory practices and procedures.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to coach managers.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and ServSafe certification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Experience in creating digital training content.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Field Trainer oversees training sessions during manager training and new restaurant openings.

Physical Demands

Requires travel, standing, fast-paced mobility, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Education and Experience

Minimum three years of training experience in various settings. Valid driver's license required.
