Field Service Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join the Dreisilker team in Glen Ellyn, IL. As a field service technician, you will play a crucial role in replacing or repairing electronic, electrical, and electromechanical components of industrial control assemblies in both field service and shop settings. If you have great mechanical aptitude and enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving to improve our electric motor services, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Perform field balancing and vibration analysis.
• Conduct motor and pump installations and repairs.
• Ensure proper alignment, tensioning, and wiring of equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Provide tech phone support and maintain various systems.

Requirements

• Experience in field service, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and knowledge of electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex problems efficiently.
