Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Director, Life Claims and Investigations to join our team at USAA, a company with a mission to provide financial security to U.S. military members and their families. As the Director, you will oversee Life, Annuity & Health claims and fraud investigation programs, manage the Life Special Investigation Unit, and lead a team in ensuring seamless claims processing and member satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and oversight to staff in claims and benefits processing.
- Develop and implement Claims Security strategic and operational plans.
- Identify emerging fraud trends, develop new investigation programs, and manage claims security.
- Build internal and external relationships and collaborate with business partners, vendors, and agencies.
- Lead hiring, employee development, and performance evaluation activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of relevant business experience with 3 years in Claims and/or Insurance Fraud.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience.
- Additional preferred qualifications include US military experience, Life Insurance and/or annuity claims expertise, and past approval authority in claims handling.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $109,130 - $202,500, based on experience and market data.
