Job Description
Join Liberty Healthcare Management as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on a full-time weekend basis. In this role, you will be involved in directing nursing services, delegating duties, observing patient conditions, and assisting in emergencies under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing nursing services for the unit in compliance with regulations.
- Delegate tasks to nurses and non-professional staff, overseeing their performance.
- Monitor patients for any signs of adverse changes and act accordingly.
- Notify physicians in emergencies and update treatment plans as directed.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as an LPN.
- Hold a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to handle charge nurse responsibilities and provide quality care to geriatric patients.
- Current CPR certification.
- Attend necessary training and meetings.
