Job Description
Schilling Graphics Inc. is currently seeking a responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will operate our non-CDL company delivery truck, transporting products to and from customers. You will be responsible for loading and unloading products, documenting deliveries using our software program, and adhering to the department operations schedule in line with production requirements.
Responsibilities
- Drive the company delivery truck on a designated route and schedule.
- Deliver and retrieve items to and from customers as directed.
- Load and unload the vehicle when necessary.
- Document and log deliveries and shipment information.
- Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Manage time efficiently to meet specific delivery timeframes.
- Maintain a neat and clean work environment and vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with customers and build positive relationships.
- Work collaboratively with a two-person delivery team for local deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and practices.
- Participate in training for work quality and safety practices.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Minimum age of 21 and ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Previous trucking/driving experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating related equipment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Collaborative and able to work well with others.
- Basic computer skills.
