Job Description

Sevita, a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care, is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Life Skills Trainers/Caregivers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with various challenges by providing training, assistance, and support in both residential and community settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training, assistance, and supervision in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of support.
  • Assist with daily activities including meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
  • Support community involvement by facilitating relationships, accompanying individuals on outings, and providing transportation.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to implement therapeutic and behavioral plans.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Six months to one year of experience in the human services field.
  • Valid Driver's License and cleared background checks.
  • Caring attitude, attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.
  • Commitment to quality and a compassionate approach towards care.
