Delivery Driver - CDL

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Delivery Driver with a valid Class A driver's license to join our team at By The Yard Inc. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting furniture to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with furniture and supplies.
• Deliver furniture to customers following designated routes.
• Utilize electronic logs for tracking orders and ensuring accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
• Perform minor repairs and assembly tasks at customer locations as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and driving laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with power and hand tools.
• Ability to follow directions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and customer-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to occasionally travel out of state.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a Delivery Driver.

Physical and Mental Demands

The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move heavy objects. Strong visual abilities and focus are necessary for this role.
