Job Description

Red River Commodities is looking for a talented Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering capital projects across our manufacturing facilities, focusing on wildlife facilities in Fargo, ND and Lubbock, TX. You will work closely with facility staff, vendors, and contractors to manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring cost-effective and safe solutions are implemented. This position will be based in our Fargo, ND corporate office with occasional travel to other locations. Responsibilities

  • Apply project management skills to execute capital projects effectively.
  • Lead project scope development and identify efficient solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously at different stages.
  • Provide technical assistance to facility staff.
  • Oversee project lifecycle from design to startup and training.
  • Ensure project budgets and schedules are met.
  • Maintain knowledge of processing systems and equipment standards.
  • Develop bid packages and manage construction processes.
  • Adhere to engineering policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or agricultural engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or relevant role.
  • Project management experience with preference for grain systems.
  • Strong communication, team building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and food processing plant design.
  • Ability to work around large mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Valid Driver's License.
