Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Restore First Health Duluth. This position will be responsible for providing care to patients under the direction of the Practice Manager and Nurse Practitioner, primarily focusing on wound care procedures in various settings such as patient's home, skilled nursing facilities, and clinics. The role includes assisting during treatments, coordinating follow-up care, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Medical Assistant will need to drive a company vehicle for travel purposes, operate efficiently, and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in wound care procedures including dressing changes and wound debridement.
• Operate company vehicle and adhere to driving safety regulations.
• Manage wound supplies, documentation, and inventory.
• Coordinate wound care visits and schedules while optimizing driving routes.

Requirements

• High School diploma and Certified Medical Assistant program completion.
• Minimum of two years of medical assistant experience, preferably in wound care.
• Current BCLS certification and clean driving history.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
