Certified Medical Assistant- Wound Care

Job Description

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant specializing in Wound Care to join the team at Restore First Health Duluth. In this role, you will work under the guidance of the Practice Manager and Nurse Practitioner to provide essential care for patients primarily outside the clinic setting. Your responsibilities will include wound care visits, professional driving, managing wound supplies, and coordinating patient schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care visits including obtaining vital signs, assisting with treatments, and cleaning tools.
• Operate the company vehicle for wound travel responsibilities following all safety regulations.
• Manage wound supplies, inventory, and replenishment in coordination with the medical team.
• Coordinate and schedule wound care visits, optimize driving routes, and liaise with healthcare providers.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent with graduation from a Certified Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of two years of medical assistant experience, preferably in wound care.
• Current BCLS certification and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and drive for extended periods.
