Capture Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Capture Manager to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a leading manufacturer of aerospace components. As the Capture Manager, you will be responsible for leading capture-related activities within the aerospace and defense sectors, developing strategies to secure new contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic capture campaigns in alignment with the Business Development and Annual Operating Plan.
• Develop capture strategies, identify potential customers, and assess competition to achieve pricing-to-win.
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance of capture activities.
• Act as the primary customer contact for proposal activities.
• Provide innovative solutions and ensure effective integration of win strategy into proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business Management with 5 years of Business Development or Capture Management experience.
• Knowledge of Commercial and USG contracts, competitive pricing strategies, and acquisition processes.
• Ability to obtain USG Security Clearance and willingness to travel.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM or Business Administration.
• Experience with DoD customers and leading pursuits/captures over $50M.
• Industry expertise in Aerostructures or related fields.
