Billing & A/R Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Billing & A/R Specialist to join OnPoint Medical Group. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for handling accounts receivable, collections, and billing operations to ensure timely payments and efficient financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable collections, working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients.
• Review, appeal, and resolve unpaid and denied claims.
• Run A/R reports and address outstanding claims efficiently.
• Handle patient inquiries and billing questions professionally.
• Maintain compliance with billing guidelines and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and PCI DSS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years of healthcare experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of billing experience is required.
• Proficiency in Athenahealth practice management preferred.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with medical billing software.
