Audio Visual Field Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an AV Field Engineer to join our dynamic team at New Era Technology. As an AV Field Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of AV and multimedia systems, ensuring top-notch quality and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Support installation team in system installation tasks.
• Perform technical tasks such as crimping, wiring, labeling, and system fabrication.
• Install equipment into racks and dress cables accordingly.
• Document equipment information and maintain inventory control.
• Test and troubleshoot control systems programming and resolve issues.
• Train clients on AV system usage and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• AVIXA CTS certification and a minimum of four years of AV experience.
• Strong understanding of audiovisual systems and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proficiency in using audiovisual applications and tools like ClearOne, AMX, Extron, Crestron, etc.
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
