Associate Director of Graduate Admission

Job Description

Suffolk University is seeking an Associate Director of Graduate Admission to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Graduate Admission, this position works as part of an admissions unit responsible for the recruitment and admission of graduate students. The candidate will guide prospective students from enrollment steps to evaluating admission applications, participate in recruitment activities, and provide mentorship to the recruiting team.

Responsibilities

• Represent the University at recruiting events both in-person and virtually. Conduct interviews, understand the university's mission, and take a data-driven approach to increase enrollment.
• Manage admission process for a caseload of students, ensuring high service levels and data integrity.
• Oversee and mentor recruiting team members, manage staff, and assist in the development of a strategic territory management plan.
• Maximize relationships with partners supporting graduate student recruitment and budget management.
• Develop recruitment strategies and serve on university committees as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of relevant admission and recruitment experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication, networking, and time management skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Proficiency in admission CRM systems and computer skills.
• Cover letter required.
