Area Catering Sales Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Area Catering Sales Manager to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Oceanfront. As part of Shamin Hotels, a leading hotel company, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue through effective solicitation and relationship-building activities. The ideal candidate will have previous hotel sales experience and a strong background in the hospitality industry.

Essential Job Functions

• Solicit, negotiate, and secure new and repeat business to maximize room revenue.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, organizations, and associations.
• Participate in active sales solicitation and follow up on leads.
• Operate within the established sales expense budget.
• Conduct professional site inspections with clients, highlighting property features.

Education and Experience

• Previous hotel sales experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or extensive experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Hilton experience is recommended.
• High school diploma or GED certification is required.
• Multi-property experience is preferred.
