Job Description
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our IT team at District Photo Inc. As an Application Support Engineer, you will provide first and second-level technical support for applications, resolve issues, collaborate with end-users, and ensure optimal performance of software applications and related infrastructure.
Job Overview
- Provide technical support for applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with end-users to understand and address software-related problems.
- Log, track, and manage support incidents, prioritizing and escalating when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications and infrastructure.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance and user experience.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshoot issues for optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation on common issues, solutions, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Act as the main technical contact for internal and external customers.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in application support or a related technical support role.
- Strong knowledge of software applications, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.
- Familiarity with database management systems, SQL queries, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with analytics, reporting software, ticketing systems, and project management software.
- Proficiency in version control and software development tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
