Application Engineer - BPM

Job Description

Discover Financial Services is seeking an Application Engineer - BPM to join our dynamic team. As part of our Discover Network Fraud organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-based and on-prem solutions that meet Fraud and Transaction Monitoring Business needs. We are looking for a technical engineer with expertise in Business Process Management (BPM/BAW) to automate processes and build innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new features with high quality to production.
• Provide guidance and support to Associate and Senior Associate Application Engineers.
• Lead technology communities at Discover.
• Contribute to technology design decisions and product development.
• Document design specifications and code changes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
• Technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Open Shift Container platform or Kubernetes.
• 3x BPM certification.
• Experience in IBM BAW, process design, and development.
• Proficiency in application development and BPM tools.
• Hands-on experience in BPM UI toolkit and integration with external technologies.
• Skills in DevOps, build tools, SQL, and cloud platforms.
• Certification in BPM and Process Automations.
