Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Appliance Service Technician to join our team at CSC Serviceworks. As an Appliance Tech, you will be responsible for providing mechanical repairs to washers, dryers, and air-vending machines at customer locations. The ideal candidate should possess strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy working independently, and excel at problem-solving in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances following manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and part replacements to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, address concerns, and provide maintenance advice to prevent future issues.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed service records and update the internal database accurately.
• Parts and Inventory Management: Monitor spare parts inventory, order necessary supplies, and manage tools for efficient repairs.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols while working with electrical systems and appliances.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Previous experience in appliance repair preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
• Physical stamina to handle heavy appliances
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various environmental conditions
