Acme Operator

Job Description

We are looking for an Acme Operator to join our team at WesternScott Fetzer. As an Acme Operator, you will be responsible for operating multiple spindle lathe type screw machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms to machine metal bar stock.

Responsibilities

• Effectively use shop packages including manufacturing orders, bills of materials, routings, and quality alerts.
• Set up and operate multiple machines simultaneously as required.
• Perform quality checks and notify supervisors of any non-conforming product.
• Participate in SQCD Board meetings and perform preventative maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Safely and properly operate and set up various production machines.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to perform simple math calculations.
• Read and comprehend instructions, blueprints, and use measuring devices.
• High School Education or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
