Job Description

Join Bmore Technology as an Accounting Assistant on a part-time basis. This crucial role involves supporting our management team by handling various clerical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and numerical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, match purchase orders, and handle accounts payable and receivable tasks efficiently.
  • Assist in maintaining the general ledger, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Enter financial transactions into QBO, maintain documentation, and prepare financial reports and spreadsheets.
  • Reconcile bank statements, monitor transactions, and assist in cash flow management.
  • Review and verify employee expense reports, process reimbursements, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Support financial analysis tasks, including budget preparation, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Maintain organized and confidential financial records, assist in audits, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Handle sales tax submissions, vendor license reconciliation, and maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements

  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge and practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Ability to research software application issues and maintain confidentiality.
  • High school diploma required, associate degree preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
