Join the Premier Veterinary Group in Grayslake, IL as a full-time Veterinary Technician in our Emergency and Critical Care Department. Your primary role will involve triaging and providing care for patients, while embodying a culture of respect and care towards clients and their pets.

Responsibilities

• Triaging incoming patients and managing clients during visits.
• Assisting DVM's in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Completing daily treatments for patients at key intervals.
• Assessing hospitalized patients and assisting in the organization of the Emergency and Critical Care department.
• Collecting and processing laboratory samples for analysis.
• Utilizing various imaging modalities for patient assessments.
• Executing and monitoring sedation and anesthetic events.

Qualifications

• General nursing care, anesthesia monitoring, and assisting in procedures.
• Effective client communication and education.
• High school education or equivalent with relevant job experience.
• Preferred certification or licensing as a veterinary technician.
