Job Purpose

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our office by performing various tasks from patient intake to care delivery. Your responsibilities include delivering timely patient triage, assisting with direct patient care, and performing routine medical procedures under supervision. We are open to training motivated individuals who align with our values and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Stay updated on office policies and procedures.
• Obtain patient histories and maintain patient charts.
• Communicate normal test results to patients.
• Ensure cleanliness in work areas and patient exam rooms.
• Perform routine medical procedures such as EKGs, immunizations, ear lavage, and sterile dressing changes.
• Administer immunizations and therapeutic injections.
• Manage exam room supply stock.
• Practice safety and infection control measures.
• Additional duties as required.

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Understanding of company policies and healthcare regulations.
• Preferred Medical Assistant or equivalent clinical training and certification.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Knowledge of office procedures.
• Strong communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to build effective relationships with providers, patients, and the public.

Working Conditions:
