Substitute Residential Advisor-SPR

Job Description

We are looking for a Substitute Residential Advisor-SPR to create a supportive environment for residents in student housing and help them adapt to campus life. As part of our team, you will oversee dormitory operations, provide counseling, maintain student records, facilitate life skills groups, and ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Offer informal counseling and guidance to students.
• Document student progress and behavior accurately.
• Facilitate group discussions and life skills sessions.
• Assess situations for confidentiality and report as necessary.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of the dormitory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in education or a related field working with students.
• Ability to compose reports and implement programmatic activities.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, bend, lift, and occasionally drive.
