Job Description

We are looking for a Substitute Instructor to join our team at the Roswell Job Corps Center. As an instructor, you will be responsible for providing education in designated subject areas and creating a positive classroom environment to enhance student learning and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and uphold Company Core Values and operating principles.
• Foster a positive atmosphere to motivate students.
• Maintain discipline for effective learning.
• Build rapport with students.
• Utilize available curriculum resources.
• Maintain student personnel folders.
• Ensure student attendance and accountability processes are followed.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum: State certification, professional trade organization accreditation, or relevant practical experience.

Preferred: Extensive trade knowledge and teaching experience.

Knowledge: Ability to instill appropriate behavior and study habits in students, proficiency in housekeeping techniques, and fluency in English.

Frequently: Standing, Sitting, Seeing, Hearing, Speaking.

Occasionally: Walking, Bending, Stooping, Squatting, Flexibility.

Seldom: Climbing, Lifting 50 pounds, Carrying, Kneeling, Pushing/Pulling, Running, Driving.

Ability to operate office equipment, occasional solitary work, 85% time spent collaborating, college-level reading and writing ability.
