Staff Nurse II/III

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse II/III to join the Addiction Treatment Center (ATC) at The University of Vermont Medical Center. In this role, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients with substance use disorders and mental health conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient vitals and withdrawal symptoms.
• Coordinate with toxicology labs and pharmacies.
• Provide patient education and care coordination.
• Administer point-of-care testing and document patient results.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Vermont or compact state.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in progress with relevant experience.
• Minimum of three years of RN experience with demonstrated competencies.
• Experience in substance use disorder field preferred.
