Job Description
The University of Vermont Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Primary Care team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality and compassionate care to our patients. Working under the guidance of healthcare providers or RNs, you will provide technical nursing care and support services, contributing to the overall well-being of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist healthcare providers and RNs in delivering treatment and medications.
- Perform clinical procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Offer emotional support and education to patients and families.
Requirements
- Current LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate care and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
